Privacy Policy

We collect what you send us when you ask about catering or get in touch, plus basic analytics about how people use this site. We use it to answer you and to understand what’s working. We don’t sell it, and we don’t share it with anyone beyond the services listed below that we need to run the business.

When you submit a catering enquiry or contact form: your name, email address, phone number, company, and the details you give us about your event — date, group size, delivery location, meal type, budget, and anything you write in the message field.

When an ad brings you here: the click identifier Google attaches to the link, plus any campaign tags in the address. This tells us which ad led to an enquiry. It is stored in your browser and sent with your form submission.

As you browse: aggregate analytics — pages viewed, roughly where visitors come from, what device they use. This is not tied to your name.

To reply to your enquiry and quote your event. To keep track of orders. To see which pages and which ads actually bring in catering enquiries, so we spend our marketing budget on the ones that work rather than the ones that don’t.

We use a small number of outside services to run this site. They only receive what they need to do their job:

• Resend — delivers your form submission to us as an email. Your enquiry passes through their systems.
• Vercel — hosts this website and provides the analytics described above.
• Google Ads — when you arrive from one of our ads, Google records that the visit turned into an enquiry. We do not send Google your name, email, or phone number.
• Toast — handles online ordering. If you place an order, that happens on their platform under their own privacy policy.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

This site uses a small amount of browser storage to remember which ad or link brought you here, so that information is attached if you go on to submit an enquiry. Analytics and, where active, Google Ads conversion tracking also set cookies.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site works fine without them — we just lose the ability to tell which ad worked.

Catering enquiries stay in our email so we have a record of what we quoted and what we delivered. Analytics data is aggregate and retained by Vercel under their own schedule. If you’d like us to delete your enquiry, email us and we will.

Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email doug@eatcomfortfuel.com and we’ll take care of it. You don’t need to give a reason.

This site isn’t aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
